  • Fan

    The fan controls the heat by blowing oxygen to the charcoal. You can easily operate the fan with the rotary knob. Regular charcoal can reach a temperature of around 360 degrees within 5 minutes with the fan.

  • Starter paste

    The fire starter paste burns for about 3 minutes after you light it. Squeeze the paste around the fan hole, not into the hole itself. Place the charcoal holder with 120 grams of charcoal on the fire and turn on the fan.

  • Grease trap

    Put water in the reservoir to collect fat dripping from the grill. This prevents the fat from burning and reduces odor. After grilling, simply discard the water.

  • Barbecuing

    Regular charcoal maintains a pleasant grilling temperature of 260 degrees for about 45 minutes. Our coconut briquettes burn for about 90 minutes at approximately 230 degrees.

Which starter gel do you recommend?

You can use any unscented fire starting gel. Thicker gel usually burns a little longer.

How does the built-in fan work to heat charcoal faster?

The fan operates on four AA batteries or via a power bank with a micro-USB cable. The fan blows air under the firelighter gel, causing the flames to be drawn through the charcoal and the coals to heat up faster.

Can the barbecue be used with any type of charcoal?

Yes, but grilling time varies depending on the type of charcoal. With our own charcoal, the BBQ2GO stays hot for about 90 minutes. With regular charcoal, it's about 45 minutes. You can refill charcoal to grill longer.

How long does it take for the charcoal to get hot with the fan?

Approximately 10 minutes with our charcoal and about 6 minutes with small pieces of regular charcoal. Regular charcoal burns for a shorter time than our own charcoal.

Is the barbecue easy to assemble and transport?

The BBQ does not need to be assembled. It comes with a bag and can be taken along as a whole. Take it out of the bag and prepare it with firelighters, charcoal, and water.

Does the barbecue come with a warranty?

Can you use the barbecue for both grilling and smoking?

You can use the barbecue for grilling and smoking. Smoking can be done, for example, with our wood chips.
